Best time of year to trim bushes?+
Most flowering shrubs: right after they bloom. Evergreens: late spring or early fall. We'll tell you the right window for each shrub when we walk the property.
Will it look bare after?+
Never — we trim conservatively the first time, see how a plant responds, then shape more aggressively next visit.
